"Go To The Source"

"Then Simon Peter answered him, Lord, to whom shall we go? thou hast the words of eternal life."  John 6:68

When others were turning away from Jesus, the disciples did not because they knew they had no other place to go.  They knew He was the source of life, the source of peace, the source of contentment, the source of power, of grace, of faith, and of strength.

Search as we may, we will not find true life, peace and contentment except in the source of life, peace and contentment-- which is Jesus.  Many are pursuing peace through a life of ease.  There are those who are pursuing happiness through relationships.  Others are trying to find real and enjoyable life through recreation and involvement in many different things.  Whatever it is you are looking for, you find it by going to the source of it.

If you are thirsty, you go to the source that will quench the thirst-- water.  If you are hungry, you go to the source that will satisfy the hunger-- food.  You can't satisfy these longings with anything else.  Neither can you satisfy the longing of your soul with temporary, external things.  They are satisfied by going to the source.  Again, the source is Jesus.  Go to Him today and let Him give you all that your heart is longing for.  Only He can truly satisfy it.

Have a great day.  Go to the source if you want peace, life and contentment.  The source is Jesus.
