"Psalm 23"

Most every Christian can quote the 23rd Psalm.  We have heard sermon after sermon preached on it.  It has been quoted and preached at funerals.  There have been books written on it.  So you are no stranger to it.  But, this morning I felt impressed to share it with you and tell you to take time this day and week to meditate on its words.  So I have typed it for you here.

"The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want.
He maketh me to lie down in green pastures: he leadeth me beside the still waters.
He restoreth my soul: he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: and I will dwell in the house of the Lord for ever."

As you meditate on it, put it into practice.  Don't let it just be words that you are thinking about.  Look to Jesus your Good Shepherd who leads and guides you.  Who restores you.  Who walks with you.  Who makes a way for you.  Who takes away your fear.  Who comforts you.  Who will never leave you.  And Who will cause His blesses to never depart from you.  What a GOOD, GOOD, LOVING SAVIOR/SHEPHERD He is!!

Have a great day.  The Lord is your Shepherd.
