"Be A Blessing"

"Blessed be he that cometh in the name of the Lord: we have blessed you out of the house of the Lord."  Psalm 118:26

We talk about blessings.  The word blessed is coming up more and more in peoples' vocabulary.  We want the blessings of the Lord.  We are blessed there is no doubt of that if we are born again children of God.  His blessings rest upon us.  But it isn't just about us being blessed.  It is also about us being a blessing to others. 

"Blessed be he that comes in the name of the Lord".  When you go out in the name of the Lord and share the gospel with others, you are a blessing to them.  Because you are bringing them good news.  You are bringing them hope.  You are bringing them words of life.  You are bringing them the message of peace. 

This world needs all the hope, comfort, peace, good news and help it can get.  When you tell others about Jesus, His love and forgiveness, you are bringing them just that.  Will you be a blessing to someone today by being a bearer of the good news of Jesus Christ?

Have a great day.  You are not only blessed, but are to be a blessing.  You will be when you tell others about the hope that is found in Jesus.
