"So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them." Genesis 1:27
Since we are all created in God's image, have you ever wondered why we don't all look alike? If you are created in someone else's image shouldn't you look like that person and shouldn't everyone else who is made in their image look like them too? So why don't we all look identical- like clones or a carbon copy? The reason is because we are created in God's image.
Who God is, what He looks like, His nature is so vast, so unsearchable, so infinite that the fact that we all look different is a testimony to who God is. Our differences reflect His greatness. There is so much to God that each one can reflect a part of His image and still not look the same. God's "DNA" is so complex that He can imprint just part of it into each person and still come out with people who are individual and unique.
The fact that we are all different yet all created in God's image, proves that there is so much more to God than we can imagine or fathom. When the enemy comes to you and tries to tell you that God is small, weak, and not so great, just go look in the mirror and remember that God had to create billions of people in order for us to get a glimpse of just how great He really is and what He looks like.
Have a great day. Put all the billions of people God has created together and we get a small picture of how vast God is.
