"Burdened"

"Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest."  Matthew 11:28

Are you burdened this morning?  Are you weary?  Are you heavy laden with the cares of this life?  Are you facing a major decision?  Are you in the valley of confusion?  Do you feel like you can't go on or you won't make it?  Are you having a hard time "getting it together"?  Does it seem more than you can bear?  Are you burdened with hopelessness, despair or fear? Are you just in general having a hard time?  

The Lord has offered you an invitation to come and bring your burdens and cares to Him.  This is not just another person that is biding you come.  It is the God of the Universe.  The One who created everything.  He is the One who took dirt and made a man from it.  He is the One who understands all things about us, and He knows everything about us.  He remembers your frame-- that you are dust-- therefore, He knows that you get weak and weary sometimes.  He isn't angry with us if we do-- as some would tell us.  He is a loving, gracious Heavenly Father who desires to uphold us, carry us, embrace us and meet all our need. 

Today will you come to Him and let Him take your cares, burdens and problems and in exchange give you peace, joy, strength and guidance?
