"Feelings Aren't Always True"

"Are not two sparrows sold for a farthing? and one of them shall not fall on the ground without your Father."10:29

Do you ever feel like God doesn't care about you?  Do you ever feel like He has forgotten you?  Do you ever wonder where He is in your life?  Do you ever feel like He has abandoned you?  Do you ever feel like He doesn't love you?

Our feelings are powerful.  But feelings can be fickle.  Feelings can lie to you.  Your own feelings can deceive you.  Our feelings may be real, but they are not always reality.  They are not always true or truth.

If you are feeling like that person above-- that God doesn't care about you, or love you, or has forgotten you-- your feelings are lying to you.  They are misleading you.  He does care about you.  He says He does, and His Word always "trumps" your feelings.

In the verse above we see just how much He does care.  It says that He notices even when one sparrow, who was only valued at a farthing, falls to the ground.  I looked it up and a farthing was a 1/4 of a penny.  That means it takes four farthings to make one penny.  That is not very valuable.  But, nevertheless, the Lord has His eye on that sparrow.  He has His eye on you because to Him you are more valuable than a sparrow.  That sparrow cost 1/4 of a cent.  You cost the precious, priceless blood of His Only Begotten Son Jesus.

Don't let your feelings convince you of something that is not real.  God does love you and care about you.  Listen to what He is telling you, not what your feelings are saying.

Have a great day.  Your feelings will tell you one thing, but believe what God is telling you instead.
