"Hold On, Good Will Come"

"For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us."  Romans 8:18

I woke up with this old hymn on my heart this morning-- "It will be worth it all, when we see Jesus.  Life's trials will seem so small, when we see Christ.  One glimpse of His dear face, all sorrow will erase.  So bravely run the race, 'till we see Christ."

Live is full of trials, troubles, heartaches, pain and problems.  No one ever said it would be easy-- Jesus sure didn't.  He sais that in this world we would have tribulations.

Perhaps you are facing one of those times.  Perhaps you are in a difficult place.  Perhaps everything you hear is "bad news"-- no good news.  Perhaps there is nothing but darkness around you.  Well, don't give up.  Don't "throw in the towel".  Keep on pressing on.  Keep on going forward.  You will eventually come to the end of the tunnel and see light.  Keep your heart and mind fixed and stayed on the Lord.  Keep focused on Him.  Keep your hand in His hand.  Let Him guide you through.  Let Him make the way.  Let Him navigate your course.  Hold on, and hang on.  What you are going through will be worth it when you come to the end if you won't give up.  The glory will be revealed.  It will all then become clearer.

Joseph didn't understand his brother's hatred for him.  He didn't understand his slavery.  He didn't understand his disconnection from his home.  He didn't understand the lies, the deception and the imprisonment.  There was much he didn't understand, until later.  But at the end he did--  "As for you, you meant evil against me, but God meant it for good, to bring it about that many people should be kept alive, as they are today." (Genesis 50:20)

Have a great day.  It may be hard now.  You may not understand it all.  But hold on and don't give up.  Eventually, you will see good.  If not here, in the life to come.
