"He Knows Everything"

"Neither is there any creature that is not manifest in his sight: but all things are naked and opened unto the eyes of him with whom we have to do." Hebrews 4:13

I was driving through town yesterday and the flowers are gorgeous- they are in full bloom everywhere, and lots of them. I started thanking God for creating them and for giving us such beauty to enjoy. As I was, I began to think about the greatness of God and how all knowing He is. I think we tend to forget just how great God really is- He is Omniscient- all knowing. He knows everything- nothing is hid from Him. He knows exactly how many flowers are on every bush on every street in every town. He knows how many blades of grass are in my front yard. He knows how many pears will be produced on my pear trees before they even begin blooming. He knows how many grains of sand are on every beach in the world. There is a song that I heard several years ago that says, "You can count the seeds in an apple, but only God can count the apples in a seed".

On a more personal level, He knows how many hairs are on your head- how many you woke up with and how many are still there when you go to bed. He knows how many wrinkles are on your face, how many freckles on your body, how many eyelashes you'll grow throughout your lifetime. He also knows the thought and intent of your heart. He knows your thoughts before you even think them. He sees every tear you cry and bottles them up. He knows the day of your death before the day of your birth.

He knows what you are going through. He knows what you'll face before the day is over. He knows how many times you'll laugh today, and how many times you'll cry. He knows how many words you will speak before you go to bed. He knows what you'll need today, and he knows what it will take to meet the need. If you find yourself wondering if He even knows where you are or what you are going through, just remember that there is nothing He does not know. Rest assure that He knows and He knows what to do on your behalf.

Have a great day. God knows everything.
