"He's Still Working"

"And Moses stretched out his hand over the sea; and the LORD caused the sea to go back by a strong east wind all that night, and made the sea dry land, and the waters were divided." Exodus 14:21

There is a song that says, "God is working, He's still working. God is working even now. Though we often don't know just how. God is working, He's still working. God is working even now." God is working on our behalf even in the times when we do not see it. Even when it feels like He isn't. Even when we don't see any evidence that He is. Yet, He is still working.

When the Israelites were coming out of Egypt, the first obstacle they encountered was the Red Sea- pretty big obstacle, don't you think. Their first thoughts were those of fear, doubt and discouragement. What were they to do? Why did God do this to them? Where was He? Moses' reply to their fears was,"And Moses said unto the people, Fear ye not, stand still, and see the salvation of the LORD, which he will shew to you to day: for the Egyptians whom ye have seen to day, ye shall see them again no more for ever." (verse 13) That's our word today too. Don't fear because of your situation. God is still working in the situation. Just because what He is doing may be hid from your sight, doesn't mean He has forgotten about you or the situation. He often works "behind the scene". God sent a strong east wind all "night" to blow back the sea. He worked behind the veil of night's darkness, out of their view, where they could not see what He was doing. But He was still working. He is still working in your situation even though you may not see it, even though you may not understand it, even though it may look otherwise. Just because you can't see it or figure out how and what He is doing doesn't mean that He isn't working.

Have a great day. "Though we often don't know just how. God is working, He's still working. God is working even now."
