"One God For All Your Needs"

"Hear, O Israel: The Lord our God is one Lord:" Deuteronomy 6:4

 

There is only one true and living God. He is the Lord God, the Divine Trinity. Because He is Infinite, you can't put a limit on Him. When He reveals Himself, He reveals Himself through His many attributes and character. When He revealed Himself to Abraham on the mountain, He revealed Himself as not only God, but Jehovah Jireh; God who provides. He revealed Himself to Ezekiel as Jehovah-Shammah; God who is here. He is still revealing who He is to us today, and daily. Today He desires to reveal Himself to you.

 

He is the God who provides and meets your need. ("But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus." Philippians 4:19) 

 

He is the God who heals. ("Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits: Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases." Psalm 103:2,3)

 

He is God who delivers-- delivers from sin, from addiction, for temptations, from the pit of despair, from anger and bitterness, etc. ("But I am poor and needy; yet the Lord thinketh upon me: thou art my help and my deliverer; make no tarrying, O my God." Psalm 40:17) 

 

He is the God who saves us from all our sins and gives us eternal life. ("For unto you is born this day in the city of David a Saviour, which is Christ the Lord." Luke 2:11)

 

He is the God who gives us peace. ("For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace." Isaiah 9:6) 

 

What do you need today? Don't limit God. He is not like the false gods we have read about in literature, or in the Bible that the heathen worshipped, or that many are still worshipping today. They had/have one separate god for each thing-- a sun god, a moon god, a god for peace, a god for fertility, a god for strength, and so on. They had/have hundreds of gods. Well, the Lord God is not like that. He is One God- the Almighty. He is Omnipotent, Omniscient, Omnipresent. He is not limited. He is One God and He can do it all. With Him nothing is too hard, too difficult or impossible. You don't have to seek after many gods to provide whatever it is you need, no matter how many different needs you have- He can handle them all. 

 

Have a great day. There is only One True and Living God and He is able to do whatever you need... and He desires to.
