"And so, after
he had patiently endured, he obtained the promise." Hebrews
6:15
There is a time of
"obtaining". A time when our faith shall become sight and we no longer have to
wait for the promised blessing. God made Abraham a promise but He did not give
him a time table upon which to base that promise. Instead, God gave him His
Word- His own promise that what He had said would come to pass.
The promises of God are yes
and amen. When He makes a promise, He is faithful to fulfill it. He doesn't
get our hopes up and then tell us He was just joking. Neither does He tell us
something that is a lie. He is God, He cannot lie.
Hold on to His promise that He
has made to you. Trust that He will bring to pass what He has said. Don't get
frustrated because of time elements. Wait patiently and believe that what He
has said, He will do. We won't always be waiting for the promise, in due season
we will obtain it.
Have a great day. There is a
time when we wait for the fulfillment of the promise of God and there is a time
when we obtain it. We may wait for a while but then we will
obtain.
