"He's Not Late"

"He hath made every thing beautiful in his time: also he hath set the world in their heart, so that no man can find out the work that God maketh from the beginning to the end." Ecclesiastes 3:11

Normally I like to have the devotional out a little earlier than this, but this morning I just was not able to do so. I for as I'm concerned, I'm "running late". But then I began to think about this in regard to the Lord. And I just want to remind you this morning that God is never late... He is always right on time!

When the children of Israel stood before the Red Sea with Pharaoh's army pressing upon them, it looked like God was late, but He wasn't-- He was right on time and opened up a way of deliverance for them. When He went to the tomb of Lazarus, Mary and Martha both said to Him, "Lord, if you had been here our brother would not have died." They accused Him of being late. Was He? No, He was right on time. Also with the three Hebrews in the fiery furnace, He wasn't late just because He showed up when they were "in" it instead of "before".

According to our time tables, it may feel as though the Lord is late in helping us, in meeting our need, in showing up in our situation, in giving us an answer... but He never is. He is a perfect God, who does everything perfectly and who does it at the perfect time. Just trust that about Him

Have a great day. His timing is always perfect.
