"His Name Is"

"...and his name shall be called Wonderful..." 

 

The word "wonder" in this verse means: extraordinary, hard to understand thing. This verse is specifically talking about Jesus. He is extraordinary. He is beyond our ability to fully understand-- who can understand all there is to know about God but God. He is so vast even His name Wonderful encompasses some of that vastness and gives a little more understanding to just how extraordinary He is.

 

W - He is the Way.

O - He is Omnipotent

N - He is the Name above all names

D - He is the Door

E - He is Eternal

R - He is the Ruler

F - He is Faithful

U - He is the Unlimited One

L - He is Love

 

Jesus is Wonderful, extraordinary, above and beyond what we can comprehend. But He desires to make Himself known to us, therefore, He gives us His name and in His name we not only gain a little more understanding of who He is, but we also discover that He truly is extraordinary.

 

Have a great day.  His name is Wonderful-- and in His name we discover just how extraordinary He is.
