"It Will Be Worth It All"

"I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus." Philippians 4:14

This morning I awoke with the words of an old hymn repeating over and over in my thoughts. I felt that I was suppose to share it with you this morning.

Life is often hard, it has its times of pain, sorrow and struggle. It is far from easy at times. We face temptations and problems daily. But regardless of the struggles, regardless of the trials, regardless of the size of the cross that you bear, this is only temporary. This life is not all there is. For the believer and follower of Christ there awaits a home prepared for us in heaven with our wonderful Lord forever.

So when you are running this race and are tempted to give up because of the difficulties, think about the prize that is ahead of you--- seeing Jesus and living with Him forever-- it will give you the added strength and extra wind that you need to continue to press forward. Because you know that in the end, it will be worth it all, and you will be glad in eternity that you did.

Have a great day. When you consider the prize at the end of your life's race (Jesus), it makes it all worth it.

"It Will Be Worth It All"

CHORUS:
It will be worth it all
when we see Jesus!
Life’s trials will seem so small
when we see Christ.
One glimpse of his dear face,
all sorrow will erase.
So, bravely run the race
till we see Christ.

1. Sometimes the day seems long,
Our trials hard to bear.
We´re tempted to complain,
to murmur and despair.
But Christ will soon appear
to catch his bride away!
All tears forever over
in God’s eternal day!

2. At times the sky seems dark,
with not a ray of light;
We’re tossed and driven on,
no human help in sight.
But there is One in heaven,
Who knows our deepest care;
Let Jesus solve your problems,
just go to him in prayer.

3. Life’s day will soon be o’re,
all storms forever past;
We’ll cross the great divide
to Glory, safe at last!
We’ll share the joys of heaven:
a harp, a home, a crown;
The tempter will be banished,
We’ll lay our burdens down.
