"... .I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee." Hebrews 13:5b
It doesn't matter where you are- what circumstance you face, what trial you are in- you are not alone the Lord is there with you. He was in the fiery furnace with the three Hebrews- He is in your "fiery furnace" with you also. He was in the lion's den with Daniel- He is in your "lion's den" with you too. He was there when Peter's faith was weak and he began to sink in the sea, He is there in your time of weakness. He was there when the Israelites were hemmed in between the Red Sea and Pharaoh's army- He is there with you when you feel "hemmed in" by overwhelming circumstances and it looks like all odds are against you. He was there with His sheep leading them beside still waters- He is there leading you as well into a place of rest. He is there when you face the valley of the shadow of death, walking with you. He was there with Paul in the storm that caused the ship to wreck. You may feel like your life is a "ship wreck" but He is there with you as He was with Paul.
As I said earlier, "It doesn't matter where you are, you are not alone because the Lord is with you." The Psalmist said it this way-- "I can never escape from your Spirit! I can never get away from your presence! If I go up to heaven, you are there; if I go down to the grave, you are there. If I ride the wings of the morning, if I dwell by the farthest oceans, even there your hand will guide me, and your strength will support me. I could ask the darkness to hide me and the light around me to become night— but even in darkness I cannot hide from you. To you the night shines as bright as day. Darkness and light are the same to you." (Psalm 139:7-12- NLT)
When you begin to feel alone, when the circumstances of life make you feel alone, remember that you never are alone. The Lord is with you regardless of where you are and what you are going through because He has promised to never leave you, nor forsake you.
Have a great day. No matter where you are and what you are going through, you are not alone because the Lord is with you.
