"So that we may boldly say, The Lord is my helper, and I
will not fear what man shall do unto me." Hebrews 13:6
"The Lord is my helper". He helps us when we are
weak by making us strong. He helps us when we don't know what to do by giving
us wisdom. He helps us when we are confused by giving us peace. He helps us
when we have lost our way to find it. He helps us to resist temptations by
making a way of escape.
He helps us climb the mountain, walk through the
valley, navigate through the wilderness, rejoice in the fire, be at peace in the
lion's den and have courage when we face the giants.
It was interesting that when I looked up the word "helper"
in the dictionary, one of the definitions that it gave was: an extra locomotive attached to a train at the front, middle, or rear, especially to provide extra power for climbing a steep grade. The Lord
is no ordinary helper. He is powerful like a locomotive-- but more powerful
than a million locomotives. With His power behind us, with His power in front
of us, with His power right there in the middle of our situation, there is
nothing that we can't do. There is nothing that can stand in our way. There is
nothing that is too big for us. There is nothing that we can't make it
through. There is nothing that is more powerful than we are, because it is the
Lord that is helping us... and nothing is too big, too strong or too difficult
for Him.
Have a great day.
When God is helping you, you have all the power you need therefore
you can't fail!
